Responsibilities & required experience:

  • Experience working within RF, microwave, microelectronics or high-frequency electronic environments.
  • High-standard soldering experience, ideally to IPC standards (certification advantageous).
  • Experience working on precision assemblies and small, intricate components using microscopes and specialist tools.
  • Assembly, fitting and testing of RF and microwave products, including passive microwave structures.
  • Understanding of coaxial connectors, waveguides, couplers and filter tuning would be advantageous.
  • Exposure to power handling devices, switching devices and high-power testing activities would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Vector Network Analysers (VNA) and RF measurement techniques.
