Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the geotechnical design of key infrastructure elements, including shafts and below-ground water storage tanks across UK water projects
  • Deliver directional drilling design solutions, ensuring alignment with project specifications and ground conditions
  • Analyse ground investigation data to inform safe, efficient geotechnical design decisions
  • Prepare and review geotechnical design reports for both shallow and piled foundation systems
  • Support multidisciplinary project delivery across water and rail sectors, collaborating with wider design teams
  • Undertake occasional site visits to validate design assumptions and support project execution on site
