Job title: Field Engineer, Service Engineer, Installation Engineer Salary: up to £45,000 + bonus + company van + other benefits Location: coverage across the Northwest of England/Southwest of Scotland Fully remote travelling to different sites (with odd home working) – odd overnight stay over will be required Hours: 37.5 per week (no overtime) Responsibilities Install, configure, and service technical equipment, handling mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation tasks within skill level. Perform routine site visits to assess equipment condition and implement proactive maintenance schedules. Serve as a technical contact for end users, resolving equipment issues and providing training where needed. Maintain clear and accurate records for installations, testing, servicing, and inventory management. Monitor and manage inventory levels, request supplies, and coordinate procurement of necessary parts and services. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination and information flow across projects. Follow all relevant safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure safe work practices are consistently applied. Deliver comprehensive technical support and handover information to ensure proper equipment use and upkeep. Qualifications/Skills NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation with an ECS Gold Card.
