Murray McIntosh are searching for a Senior Controls & Calibration Engineer to start work for a key client of ours on a contract basis as detailed below:

Candidates should have a track record of calibrating internal combustion engines and aftertreatment systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Calibration of aftertreatment control parameters
  • Planning and calibration of engine pollutant generation, DPF accumulation, regeneration, burn rate models and validation in test bed/machine environments
  • Temperature and pressure models calibration and validation
  • Calibration of functional diagnostics for NCD and PCD, temperatures/pressures etc.
  • Climatic trips, experience on calibration validation exercises at machine/vehicle level
  • SCR efficiency monitoring calibrations
  • Calibration design and validation using simulation tools (Simulink preferred)
  • Calibration database management
  • Write development plans and reports
  • Understanding of emissions measurement equipment is desired
