We’re appointing an experienced Framework Lead to work on a large, regulated water-sector framework, supporting delivery of AMP8 projects across the south of England. This is a senior leadership position with strategic and operational responsibility for the framework, overseeing non-infrastructure water and wastewater projects.
Based from the HQ in East Sussex office three days per week, with hybrid working, you’ll lead a multi-disciplinary team of approximately 12 people, ensuring strong performance, commercial control and effective client engagement throughout AMP8.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Providing strategic leadership across the framework and AMP8 project portfolio
- Acting as a senior client interface, maintaining trusted and effective working relationships
- Leading, developing and motivating team of c.12 across planning, performance and delivery support functions
- Overseeing financial performance, including cost control, forecasting and reporting
- Ensuring programmes are robust, contractually compliant and deliverable
- Driving high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance
- Identifying and implementing improvements to framework processes and ways of working
- Ensuring timely, accurate and auditable reporting to client and internal stakeholders
What we’re looking for:
- Essential: proven experience within the water sector, ideally on large regulated frameworks and AMP programmes
- Senior-level experience managing complex frameworks, programmes or portfolios
- Strong commercial and contractual capability, with excellent NEC3/NEC4 knowledge
- A thorough understanding of UK health and safety legislation, including HSWA and CDM Regulations
- Degree qualified (or equivalent), with chartered status or a relevant professional qualification
- A confident, credible leader able to operate effectively at senior stakeholder level
