Manufacturing Engineer

Murray McIntosh are currently seeking Manufacturing Engineers to work for a client of ours on a contract basis as detailed below:

Please note we can only consider British citizens for this UK eyes only project. In addition, we require candidates who either currently hold or are eligible to obtain SC clearance.

Required experience:

• Strong manufacturing engineering knowledge and experience
• Ability to lead PFMEAs; create and approve procedures, process mapping & documentation as well mitigating risk
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and create/manufacturing drawings
• Create works orders with accurate routings and operations
• Have good understanding of heat treatment processes
• Experience of process improvement, creation, development, approval and documenting
• Experience and understanding of machine shop manufacturing processes
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• 2D/3D CAD experience
• Knowledge of grinding (cylindrical, face, profile, shaping, diameter, surface or similar)
• Experience of laser measurement or dimensional control preferred
