We are currently recruiting an experienced Industrial Painter / Shotblaster for a site-based role in London. This is a hands-on position suited to a skilled operative who can deliver high-spec industrial coatings work with minimal supervision on a high-profile site.
The Role
You will carry out industrial blasting and painting works to specification, ensuring quality, safety and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
Essential Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years' proven experience in industrial blasting and painting
- Strong experience with shot blasting
- Airless spray application and brush application
- Mixing and applying single-pack and two-pack paint systems
- Ability to achieve specified wet film thickness (WFT) and dry film thickness (DFT)
- ICATS or TTP qualifications, including blast and spray tickets
- Proficiency with airless spray equipment and blasting equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain equipment such as blast pots and airless spray pumps
- A keen eye for detail with a right-first-time attitude
- Excellent housekeeping standards
- A good understanding of spoken and written English
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety procedures

- Manual handling certification
- Working at heights training
- COSHH awareness
Additional Requirements
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Comfortable adapting to a variety of coatings, products and techniques
- Physically fit, as the role includes manual handling and lifting
- Willingness to work occasional overtime (advance notice provided)
Working Pattern
- Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:00
- 40-hour working week
- Overtime available when required
