Murray McIntosh are currently searching for an Electronic Test Engineer to join a key client of ours on a contract basis as detailed below:
You will be responsible for carrying out electronic testing activities on a variety of both RF and electronic products.
Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Production and Repair Cells with all test-related concerns to ensure on-time delivery of compliant product.
  • Supporting engineering investigations into product performance and reliability.
  • Critical evaluation of existing test and calibration methods and proposal of improvements and modernization.
  • Supporting both Suppliers and Customers with product queries.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years\’ electronic test experience in a related role in any industry.
  • Experienced and confident in the use of a variety of laboratory equipment
  • Experienced in evaluating S-Parameters, Power, Leakage/Isolation, Noise and Losses in a RF systems and components such as Transmitters, Receivers, Mixers, Downconverters, Filters and Amplifiers. (advantageous)
  • Experience of performing IPC level inspections of electronic assemblies
  • Ability to maintain several production test and reference facilities
  • Electronic component knowledge
  • Capable of reading circuit diagrams and product performance specifications and confident in translating these requirements to Test Specifications.
  • Proficient at producing technical reports to a high standard.
