We are particularly seeking individuals with experience in Marketing, Communications and PR, Adult Education (Ofsted regulated), Digital Technology, and Commercial Trading (Independent Director for subsidiary company).
A Director, also referred to as Trustee, is a voluntary (non‑paid) role and plays a vital part in ensuring Murray Hall Community Trust achieves its core purpose. They oversee the overall governance and management of the charity, ensuring a clear strategy and alignment with the mission. They support and appropriately challenge the executive team, enabling growth and prosperity in pursuit of a vision that empowers community members to thrive and be empowered to exercise agency with equal access to opportunities to live healthy lives within a supportive community so no one is left behind. Directors/Trustees collectively form our Board of Trustees/Directors, sharing decision‑making responsibilities. Directors act as a group, not individually.

What will you be doing?
Our current board comprises a chair and four other directors/trustees, each having specific responsibility for areas such as Clinical and Safeguarding, People, Culture and Estates, Finance, Governance and Business Development, and chairing the respective sub-groups that govern each area.
