We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join a small team at two Shopping Centres in Kent. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all visitors. This position requires attention to detail and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and cleanliness in various settings.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces within the shopping centre.
- Ensure that all areas are well‑maintained and presentable at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with environmental standards.
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Foster a positive atmosphere by engaging with leaseholders and visitors in a friendly manner.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
