The Murray City Police Department is taking applications for crossing guards to prepare crossing zones and assist children in crossing streets safely on a seasonal basis while children attend school.

Pay Rate: $19.00 hourly

Schedule: 10 hours/week. Hours vary depending on school.

Application Location: Application forms may be obtained from the Murray City Human Resource Office at 10 East 4800 South.

Note: In the interest of workplace and public safety, all offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a chemical screen for the purpose of detecting the presence of alcohol and/or controlled substances in the body. A background check is conducted if the candidate is over 18 years of age. Successful applicants must also pass a basic physical exam which includes a vision and hearing test.
