Murphy is recruiting for a Senior SHES Manager (MIMS) to work across the group. The position can be based at Cannock, Ollerton or London. The role will operate in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and the USA, supporting Murphy’s infrastructure sector projects in transportation, water, power and natural resources. A day in the life of a Senior SHES Manager (MIMS):
- Own and manage core SHES digital platforms, including EcoOnline (212), MSite, TapRoot and Sypol.
- Set system standards, structure and governance to ensure consistency across the business and oversee user access, workflows across all platforms.
- Manage SHES data integrity across all systems, ensuring records are accurate, complete and up to date.
- Oversee monitoring of actions, records and system performance data.
- Own delivery of SHES performance reporting across the Group, UK and Ireland.
- Manage production of key outputs including Board reporting, Balanced Scorecard, IWI reporting, EROC and SPAG reporting.
- Maintain a reporting schedule that ensures submission deadlines, review and completion of key reports – make this available and accessible to SHES Centre SLT.
- Manage development and maintenance of EcoOnline dashboards and reporting tools.
- Manage rollout and embedment of systems across projects, including MSite.
- Oversee system administration activities including user management, workflow setup and project creation.
- Own governance and performance of TapRoot, including user management and incident record compliance.
- Provide direction to projects, functions and regions on system use and reporting requirements.
- Advise and support Managers and Supervisors to discharge their responsibilities for the SHES of employees and others to whom they have a duty as defined by Legislation and Company Procedures.
- Support management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the SHES Plans.
- Carry out regular inspections/audits of sites and workplaces (if required) to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures and the relevant Statutory Provisions.
- Assist with accident/incident investigations in accordance with the Company procedure and, analysing all data, making recommendations to avoid any reoccurrences.
- Provide reports, presentations and information as directed by the Business / SHES Management.
- Carry out site inductions and other training as required.
- Support the Business / SHES Management in the delivery of the Audit Programme.
- Undertake SHES audits as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a Construction System and Performance role.
- In-depth SharePoint user & build knowledge.
- Strong data skills: validation, cleansing, dashboard/report building (Excel/Power BI).
- Confident communicator and trainer – able to support site teams and office users.
- In-depth Microsoft package knowledge (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project, Power BI).
