Position Overview
We are seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Officer to join our growing EHS team. This role is ideal for an early‑career EHS professional who is passionate about safety, sustainability, and continual improvement, and who wants to develop within a supportive, global organisation. Based from our Watford office, you’ll report to the Group EHS Manager and work closely with operational teams across the UK and Europe.
What You Will Do
- Support the monitoring and reporting of EHS performance across multiple business units
- Partner with operational teams to promote safe systems of work across office, site, and field‑based activities
- Assist in delivering EHS inductions and training to employees and contractors
- Support compliance with UK and EU EHS legislation and internal standards
- Maintain and improve EHS Management Systems aligned with ISO standards
- Assist in accident, incident, and near‑miss investigations, including follow‑up actions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders through reports, emails, and meetings
- Travel to operational sites as required
What You Will Bring
- Diploma in Health and Safety, NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience
- Proficiency in MS Office packages required
- Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations
- Hold a full valid driving license without endorsements
