We are currently recruiting a Junior Software Developer to join our Operations Development Function (PMO) on a permanent basis. You will work closely with the team to enhance operational performance by developing systems, applications, automation tools, and data dashboards using cutting‑edge technology. This role is perfect for someone who is innovative, organised, and keen to grow their skills. You’ll be supported with ongoing training and development to advance your capabilities and career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with survey and support teams to assess needs and develop automation tools to improve workflow efficiency
  • Build and enhance applications using existing technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • Support the integration of AI/ML technologies into business processes
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for performance reporting and analytics
  • Assist with software and systems integration activities
  • Manage your own development projects, providing regular updates on progress
  • Support wider Operations team initiatives as required
Key Requirements

This is an entry-level role. We’re looking for candidates who have started developing experience in some of the following areas (you don’t need them all — we will support you to grow):

  • Programming experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL, data pipelines)
  • Experience or interest in AI/ML technologies
  • Knowledge of geospatial surveying or geospatial technologies
  • Experience using Power BI or similar dashboarding tools
  • Exposure to low‑code platforms such as Power Apps, Power Automate, or n8n
  • Right to work in the UK
