We’re expanding our Aviation team in Manchester and are recruiting Utility Surveyors at all levels—from enthusiastic entry‑level candidates to seasoned professionals. With a strong pipeline of newly awarded aviation projects, we are strengthening our capability to deliver high‑precision underground utility data that underpins some of the UK’s most transformative developments.

As part of our team, you’ll work with the latest geospatial technologies, modern survey methods, and market‑leading equipment, gaining hands‑on experience while making a measurable impact on the built environment. What You Will Do

  • Undertaking of utility surveys in a variety of environments using the latest EM and GPR technologies and equipment available and in accordance with PAS 128 standards.
  • Handling, processing, and interpreting geospatial data within the sub‑surface environment.
  • Liaise with clients and on‑site teams to ensure surveys meet project requirements.
  • Undertaking site visits and client meetings (for the senior role) to assist in the tendering stage of larger projects.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards on‑site.
  • Support junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the department.

What You Will Bring

  • Strong knowledge of the principles and practices of GPR and underground surveying.
  • Ability to use EML and GPR with high proficiency.
  • Understanding and knowledge of PAS 128.
  • Ability to understand and analyse asset owner record drawings.
  • QCF3/QCF5 highly desirable but not a requirement.
  • Understanding and knowledge of land surveying (desirable but not a requirement).
  • Good writing skills and proficiency in the English language.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Flexibility to travel nationwide as required by our clients.
  • Possess a full clean manual driving license.
  • Strong work ethic with drive for career growth.
