We are currently recruiting a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources department. This role will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and assist in partnering with stakeholders across the EMEA region, supporting a diverse range of hiring needs and contributing to a consistent, high-quality recruitment approach across multiple locations. This role offers the opportunity to gain exposure to recruitment across multiple countries within EMEA, supporting a wide variety of roles while working as part of a collaborative and experienced Talent Acquisition team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has previous experience in a recruitment role, to gain experience in a growing business. The successful applicant will be reporting to the European HR Director and will be based out of one of our head offices in the EMEA, with the option for Hybrid working. Please note this is a maternity cover position and will be on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
Position Overview
This role will assist in partnering with stakeholders across the EMEA region, supporting hiring needs and contributing to consistent recruitment practices across multiple locations.
Role Objectives
- You will assist with the end-to-end talent acquisition process from role approval through to contract acceptance.
- Assist in partnering with hiring managers to support their resourcing requirements, ensuring a positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates throughout the process.
- Manage multiple recruitment assignments in a fast-paced environment, delivering against agreed KPIs such as time-to-fill and candidate experience.
- Support recruitment across a broad range of roles from entry-level to senior positions across the business.
- Assist in ensuring the selection of high-quality candidates complies with employment legislation, best practice, and company policy and procedures.
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing market insight, talent intelligence, and guidance on hiring strategies.
- Track, analyse, and report on recruitment activity to inform decision-making and continuously improve hiring processes.
What will I be doing in my new role?
- Assist in providing market insight, salary benchmarking, and hiring guidance to support informed decision-making.
- Track and report on recruitment activity, providing updates and insights to the HR team and hiring managers.
- Meeting with hiring managers to qualify posts, to support in role creation, salary benchmarking and job/skills evaluation, and to plan a campaign and recruitment schedule for each position.
- Providing support, guidance, and training to hiring managers on best practice, screening, reviewing applications, and supporting with panel interviews and/or preparation where needed.
- Support a high-touch recruitment process to ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience at every stage.
- Managing a robust full-cycle recruiting process for entry-level hires through to senior-level positions.
- Developing new and existing sourcing strategies for talent pipelines, candidate pools and nurturing talent in line with workforce planning, from entry level to senior leadership.
- Helping develop and implement the use of testing and assessments to evolve our approach to skills/competency-based hiring.
- Helping increase diversity and working with the HR team on diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Working with the HR team to oversee the onboarding process and pre-employment screening.
- Developing communities and talent pools through advertising, headhunting/direct approaches, networks, university events, social media, and employee referrals.
- Supporting with Employer Value Proposition, Recruitment Marketing, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, Staff Referrals and Engagement projects initiatives.
What qualifications/previous experience do I need?
- Experience working as a recruiter or in a related role, a qualification in HR or Recruitment (CIPD or equivalent) would be advantageous.
- Experience working with ATS systems such as Greenhouse, BambooHR, Workday etc.
- Ability to gather and analyse information, produce reports and updates using our HR system and Microsoft Excel.
- Outstanding clerical skills, such as data entry, emailing, and scheduling.
- Display proactive and self-motivated characteristics, along with a team-oriented approach and strong collaboration skills and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to effectively navigate and optimize the recruitment process.
- Previous experience within Talent Acquisition and a strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, advertising, interviewing and offer negotiation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to confidently interact with people of all levels, including hiring managers, senior stakeholders, third party companies and candidates, via multiple communication channels.
- Ability to build strong trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with the confidence to lead and challenge decisions where necessary.
- Experience of managing projects and supporting others to achieve goals.
- Possess a strong understanding of the importance of Inclusion & Diversity and can drive this within the team to ensure fair and inclusive hiring practices.
- Knowledge and experience of utilising the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) to attract talent.
