About the Role
Own the client relationship and performance of Murphy's product post-greenlight by leading live deployments, monitoring KPIs, and continuously optimizing configurations, prompts, dashboards, and integrations. The Deployment Strategist is responsible for translating POC learnings into sustained production outcomes, driving iterative improvement over time, and ensuring the product delivers measurable value that supports long-term adoption and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Successful POC Delivery: Effective partnership and handover with the Solutions Engineer. Validate POC greenlight criteria; execute POC launch on controlled data sets; monitor performance and iterate key components (dashboards, prompts, configs, policies) to drive KPI improvement.
- Client Relationship Ownership: Be the trusted strategic partner for the client throughout — lead weekly KPI reviews, maintain clear communication, manage expectations, and drive decisions.
- Outcome Reporting & Recommendations: Produce comprehensive reports with quantified success/failure metrics and articulate go/no-go recommendations and roll-out plans with milestones and dependencies.
- Business Expansion & Integration: Identify and negotiate expansion opportunities or upsells based on insights from project performance; coordinate API/SFTP integration and custom feature work as needed. Partner with FDEs to properly set up integrations based on requirements.
Requirements
- Analytical & Outcome focused: Ability to translate data insights into action, works with measurable success criteria and continuously evaluates outcomes to pivot strategy when needed.
- Client Centric & Relationship Leadership: Builds trust with client stakeholders through clear communication, proactive problem solving, and demonstrated ownership of delivering value.
- Operational Delivery & Execution Excellence: Manages complex, multi-task initiatives with rigor, from initial setup and launch through iterative refinement, milestone tracking, and final reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works effectively with product, engineering, sales, operations and solutions engineers to align on technical needs, surface product insights, and iterate assets like dashboards owned by OPS and configurations supported by tech, where necessary.
- Commercial Acumen: Understands business contexts and outcomes to identify meaningful upsell/expansion paths and makes data-backed cases for next steps.
