We are looking for an IT Support Engineer for our location in Fleet, United Kingdom. First level support contact person for any hardware/software related issues for our European branches, especially Fleet office.
Responsibilities:
- Identify the root causes of errors, escalating serious concerns and/or unknown problems to other Support Engineers, related third parties or management.
- Provide solutions to keep a high level of availability for users.
- Adopt processes to track and maintain high user satisfaction.
- Create and maintain effective and high quality documentation of processes.
- Support users in their work environment by conducting user trainings, writing and editing training manuals, and gaining feedback from users to improve training methods.
- Proactively support reduction of infrastructure issues by analysing common complaints and problems reported by users and formulate solutions together with the management.
Your experience and knowledge:
- GCSE and/or Bachelor in IT, Computing or Digital Technologies.
- Min. 2 years experience in User Support role.
- In-depth knowledge of standard hardware and software (Windows/Office applications).
- Effective at problem solving.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
- Hands-on mentality.
- Solution-oriented approach.
- Open to people and new ideas.
- Ability to contribute to the IT team.
