Job Overview
This would suit someone looking early on in their career. The Office Manager role is extremely varied, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities to ensure the London office is immaculately presented, properly equipped to run smoothly to optimise a productive and comfortable working environment. With access to senior management, this role will present the right individual with opportunities to progress, particularly within HR, and to play a central role in shaping the culture of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations and Maintenance
- Co-ordinate employee seating plan, set up workstations; maintain computer inventory; co-ordinate replacements and fixes.
- Point of contact for all service providers, building management and maintenance teams.
- Arrange meeting rooms for visitors and greet guests.
- Order all office supplies; keep track of inventory.
- Responsible for office appearance and maintenance of fixtures, fittings, furniture.
- Point of contact for office cleaner.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety requirements.
- Organise team socials, prizes and other activities to enhance company culture.
- HR Administration & Recruitment
- First point of contact for all HR related matters; escalate to Executive Officer as appropriate.
- Manage all HR admin and paperwork; maintain all employee records and co-ordinate HR training for the team.
- Coordinate Investor Analyst recruitment from advertising through to hire; liaise with Executive Officer for senior/mid-level roles; undertake initial stage interviews.
- Complete inductions for new starters; conduct exit interviews with leavers.

- Organisational Skills: Highly organised, proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and that the office is presentable at all times.
