In this role Muntons will provide:

Key responsibilities:
- Manage your time in line with production requirements.
- Operate plant and equipment right through the plant from start to finish of process, mainly focusing on quality and throughput at each stage.
- Strive to improve site hygiene levels, and carry out autonomous maintenance to ensure machinery runs as smoothly as it can.
- Work closely with all the other departments on site.
Key tasks:
- Ensure production runs on time in accordance with the plan, escalating any issues.
- Monitor the SCADA control system to ensure plant is functioning as expected.
- Complete production documents as required.
- Report on events in the daily meeting.
- Take and complete any actions.
- Report any issues to your line manager.
- Monitor and record information on the control room computer.
- Report all deviations from the production plan in a clear and timely manner.
- Record all lost time on the lost time sheet with the appropriate level of detail.
- Work safely in line with WI’s, SWP’s, RA’s and Training.
- Ensure shift handovers are clear, concise, received and understood.
- Carry out instructions asked of you by the shift leader.
- Carry out plant cleaning as detailed in hygiene schedules or as requested.
- Proactively clean areas which are not up to the required standard.
New Team Member Training:
- Participate in own training and training of others, share learning and provide support to new team members to help them integrate into the team.
