We are looking for an Engineering Maintenance Coordinator to join our friendly proactive team. The successful candidate will bring great communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders. This role is Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, based in Stowmarket.

Key responsibilities:

  • CMMS Ownership & Governance - Owning, developing, and improving the site’s CMMS to ensure high-quality data, effective workflows, and world-class maintenance performance.
  • Maintenance Planning & Scheduling - Leading the site’s engineering planning and scheduling processes to ensure resources, materials, and work priorities are aligned for safe and efficient execution.
  • Work Instructions & Engineering Documentation - Maintaining, authoring, and controlling digital work instructions, job plans, SOPs, and maintenance task lists to ensure consistency, compliance, and technical accuracy.
  • Maintenance Work Process Control - Ensuring that all maintenance workflows — from request to completion — are standardised, followed, and continuously improved.
  • Reliability & Performance Improvement - Supporting reliability engineering through analysis of maintenance data, identifying trends, and helping drive equipment performance improvements.
  • Spare Parts & Stores Integration – Liaising with on-site stores team to ensure parts availability and accuracy of inventory.
  • Training & Stakeholder Support - Acting as the site expert for CMMS use, planning processes, and engineering documentation standards, providing training and frontline support.
  • Compliance & Audit Support - Maintaining audit-ready engineering data and documentation, ensuring full compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Statutory Control - Provide administrative control of statutory maintenance e.g., LEV, LOLER and Pressure Vessels.

Key skills required:

  • Proficient in using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) e.g., Agility, SAP PM, Shire.
  • Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret maintenance data.
  • Ability to write clear, accurate work instructions and job plans.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office including Outlook/Excel.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to coach others and influence best practice behaviours.
  • Compliance of quality, health, safety and the environment.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of contractor management.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to ensure continuous cover within the department whilst effectively managing your own workload.
