ABOUT THE JOB A great opportunity exists for an enthusiastic individual to work as part of the Materials Team (Goods In, Despatch, Lineside) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: Operate various company vehicles, equipment and tools according to instructions and complete training as required Clearly follow reporting and record keeping procedures Comply with all health and safety regulations Clean and maintain equipment and work areas to the expected level for safety and efficiency Perform stock and quality control checks ensuring adequate levels are available as business requires Help investigate stock check variations, achieve and maintain stock accuracy as per department targets Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules Storing and rotating stock according to established procedures Ensuring that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork Help the team achieve and maintain 5S1 and department governance targets for line side and warehouse. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Good standard of general education (GCSE level or equivalent) Have the ability to complete forklift training required for the role Experience of using IT systems DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS Current forklift qualification, Counterbalance/Reach/Man-up Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment We are an Equal Opportunities Employer Skills: Warehousing despatch goods in Forklift Operator Teamwork Stock Control communication skills.
