The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process of our limited-run vehicles. This includes planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing activities to ensure that our products are produced efficiently, on time, and meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for innovation and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand whilst optimising resources and maintaining quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production workers, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality Control: Establish and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high standards of product quality and consistency.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimise production costs.
- Stock Control: Develop and implement comprehensive stock control systems to track and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to support production needs.
- Purchasing: Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies required for production, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure timely production and delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all manufacturing activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Budget Management: Manage the production budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and supply chain teams to streamline production processes and address any manufacturing issues.

What You Will Need
