Crane Supervisor – Newmarket
Job Description
Munnelly Support Services is looking for an experienced Crane Supervisor to start on a project in Newmarket.
The role will involve working alongside a Telehandler Driver and supervising lifting operations on site, ensuring all movements are carried out safely and in line with the lift plan and site procedures.
- Rate: £24.00 per hour – CIS/UTR
- Hours: 08:00–18:00 – 9.5 hours paid per day
- Location: Newmarket
- Start Date: Monday 24 August 2026
- Duration: Approx. 4 months
Duties
- Working alongside the Telehandler Driver during lifting operations
- Supervising and coordinating lifting activities on site
- Banking/signalling the telehandler where required
- Ensuring all lifts are carried out safely and in accordance with the lift plan
- Controlling lifting areas and maintaining safe exclusion zones
- Coordinating the movement and positioning of materials and loads
- Communicating clearly with the Telehandler Driver and site team
- Carrying out pre-lift checks and reporting any issues
- Ensuring all site health and safety procedures are followed
Requirements
- Valid CPCS or NPORS A62 Crane Supervisor qualification
- Valid Fit to Work medical
- Previous experience working as a Crane Supervisor
- Good understanding of lifting operations and site safety
- Experience working alongside plant operators and supervising lifts
- UTR number and eligible to work on a CIS basis
- Full PPE
- Must be available to start Monday 24 August 2026
