This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Labourer looking for stable, ongoing work.
The project is expected to last approximately one year and could continue for longer.
You will work from 8:00am until 6:00pm, with 9.5 hours paid per day at £16.00 per hour under CIS.
Duties
- Carrying out general labouring duties across the construction site
- Assisting tradespeople, supervisors and site management
- Loading, unloading and moving tools, equipment and building materials
- Distributing materials to the correct areas of the site
- Helping to maintain safe pedestrian routes and access points
- Keeping the site clean, tidy and free from hazards
- Assisting with deliveries and the safe storage of materials
- Moving and positioning site equipment when required
- Carrying out basic manual tasks under the direction of the site supervisor
- Following site instructions and health and safety procedures
- Wearing the required PPE and working safely at all times
- Completing other general construction-site duties as required Essential Requirements
- Valid CSCS card
- Previous experience as a General Labourer, Site Labourer or Construction Labourer
- Must be able to commute reliably to the site in Devizes
- Appropriate construction-site PPE
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Good awareness of construction-site health and safety
