Munnelly Support Services is currently looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to support a short-term project at South Quay Plaza in Canary Wharf. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily site logistics operation and managing a small team consisting of two labourers and one Traffic Marshal. You will work closely with the wider site management team to ensure all logistics activities are completed safely, efficiently and in line with the programme of works.
Duties will include:
- Managing and coordinating two labourers and one Traffic Marshal
- Allocating daily duties and ensuring the team understands their responsibilities
- Overseeing deliveries, vehicle movements and pedestrian routes
- Ensuring loading, unloading and material movements are properly coordinated
- Liaising with site management, subcontractors and delivery drivers
- Maintaining safe and clear access routes across the project
- Conducting daily briefings and ensuring all work is completed safely
Requirements:
- Valid SMSTS certificate
- Gold CSCS Card as a minimum
- Valid First Aid certificate
- Previous experience working as a Logistics Manager on a busy construction project
- Reliable, professional and confident managing a small team
- Must be available to start on Thursday 6 August 2026
This is initially a short-term position lasting approximately 8–10 days. However, MSS will make every effort to place the successful candidate on another suitable project once this role has finished, subject to availability and satisfactory performance. MSS is also actively looking to secure further work in the area, meaning this role could lead to additional opportunities for a reliable and high-performing Logistics Manager.
