The Finance Analyst reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for:
- General ledger account reconciliations
- Working paper preparation and annual regulatory reporting
- Preparing, maintaining and monitoring annual operating budgets
- Maintaining capital lien and various other revenue generating programs & applications
- Other duties as assigned, such as special projects initiatives, operational position assistance and backup role to the Finance Manager
This is a permanent full-time position.

- Salary Range: Range 7, $78,332- $93,112

Qualities to succeed in the role
- Well-developed organizational skills

- Confidence in full accounting cycle
- Ability to be a senior member of a Finance department, and also have comfort performing daily accounting tasks
Education & experience required
- Bachelor degree in Business/Commerce and completion of a recognized professional accounting designation
- Minimum five years experience in budgeting, accounting cycle and reporting
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Strong ability to self-direct and work effectively in a team environment
- Strong technical computer skills including the ability to operate accounting software
- Previous experience in the public sector, an asset
