The Finance Analyst reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for:

  • General ledger account reconciliations
  • Working paper preparation and annual regulatory reporting
  • Preparing, maintaining and monitoring annual operating budgets
  • Maintaining capital lien and various other revenue generating programs & applications
  • Other duties as assigned, such as special projects initiatives, operational position assistance and backup role to the Finance Manager

This is a permanent full-time position.

  • Salary Range: Range 7, $78,332- $93,112

  • Confidence in full accounting cycle
  • Ability to be a senior member of a Finance department, and also have comfort performing daily accounting tasks

Education & experience required

  • Bachelor degree in Business/Commerce and completion of a recognized professional accounting designation
  • Minimum five years experience in budgeting, accounting cycle and reporting
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Strong ability to self-direct and work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong technical computer skills including the ability to operate accounting software
  • Previous experience in the public sector, an asset
