What You'll Be Doing

As a Technical Underwriter, you'll be the technical expert supporting our Partnerships business, ensuring our products and documentation are accurate, compliant and fit for purpose.

Working closely with underwriting, legal, claims, product and business development teams, you'll draft and maintain policy wordings, delegated authority agreements, appointed representative agreements and reinsurance treaties.

You'll also support new product development, provide technical guidance and training, and help ensure our products continue to meet legal, regulatory and underwriting standards throughout the partnership lifecycle.

  • What You'll Need
  • Experience in commercial or consumer insurance underwriting, or a similar technical insurance role.
  • Experience drafting or reviewing insurance documentation, policy wordings or delegated authority agreements, or transferable experience in legal, compliance or product governance.
  • A good understanding of insurance regulation and underwriting governance.
  • Experience working with insurers, MGAs, affinity partners or delegated authority arrangements would be advantageous.
  • Degree qualified, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • ACII qualified or working towards the qualification is desirable.
