We are looking for a Digital Finance Analyst to join our team in London on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Review existing financial & actuarial processes to identify opportunities for automation and enhancements.
  • Scope, design, build and test new solutions, utilising the latest tools and best practices to drive the finance & actuarial function transformation journey.
  • Support the transition of new solutions from the development to the production phase, through stakeholder communication, delivering in-house training and shaping the development of support models.
  • Work in partnership with IT to explore and on-board leading software solutions that enhance how the finance and actuarial function operates.
  • Work with cross functional business partners to support transformation projects end to end across various business functions.
  • Explore and leverage solutions being used across the Munich Group for local MRSG implementation.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Technical background in either Finance or Actuarial.
  • Experience in General Insurance (preferred but not essential).
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including Power Query / Power Pivot.
  • Familiarity with data preparation tools such as Alteryx or Power Query.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Analytical, critical thinker with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Good communication skills and confident speaking to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Relationship management: ability to partner and influence at all levels within an organisation.
  • Energetic and curious.
  • Innovation mindset with a proven record of process improvement, able to identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies and add value to drive projects forward.
