Overview

Global HR Data Analyst (Manchester) at Munich Re. Working in Global HR at Munich Re for Reinsurance & Specialty Group means being part of a dynamic, globally connected team that shapes the future of our organization. The role will be located in London / Manchester, in the Europe / Latin America (EULA) region, and is part of a global team of HR reporting and analytics experts reporting to the Global Head of HR Reporting and Analytics (Munich, Germany). You will partner with global and regional stakeholders to understand HR data requirements, deliver data insights, and enable data-based decision making to support Munich Re’s strategic HR and business agenda.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in global projects and initiatives, provide analytical answers to strategic questions, and ensure accurate and timely responses to regular and ad hoc data requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR analytics capabilities, enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy, and align reports with strategic goals.

Data stewardship and compliance

  • Develop, maintain and improve processes to monitor data accuracy, completeness and consistency.
  • Ensure adherence to global data standards and governance at a regional level.
  • Align data across regional HRIS systems and SuccessFactors as the main global HR IT system.
  • Ensure compliance with global and local laws, data access controls and data retention requirements.
  • Implement globally aligned processes and governance around data privacy, security, and ethics.

HR reporting

  • Produce and communicate relevant HR data insights, including regular management reporting and ad hoc requests; build, test, optimize and run reports; design and extend HR dashboards; pursue continuous improvement.
  • Support data collection and data quality assurance for regulatory reporting, including Group HR (Sustainability) Reporting for Munich Re Group’s sustainability statement in the annual report.
  • Contribute to HR data strategy and support global alignment and standardization of HR reporting capabilities, including transferring regional reports into global versions.
  • Advance automation of HR data collection and reporting processes.

Knowledge and skills

  • Extensive experience, including 3+ years in a HR data function.
  • Thorough understanding of HR data points and metrics; ability to transform HR data into meaningful insights.
  • Experience with HR IT systems (preferably SuccessFactors, iTrent) and data visualization tools (preferably SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI) to build HR reports and dashboards.
  • Experience with global data alignment, collection, structuring and migration.
  • Strong technical and analytical mindset; ability to work in a complex global (matrix) organization.
  • Can-do attitude, team player, and ability to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, able to convey complex data insights to different audiences.
