The Role: Broker Assistant based in London offices Purpose of the Position To work with and be part of the Broking Team and provide support to aid the placement of new and renewal business and enhance performance of Lloyd’s business. Duties and Responsibilities Work collaboratively with the Broking Department to assist in preparing materials for presentation to Underwriters and Clients Support the team in building, developing, and managing existing business relationships Assist with the binding authority placement process by: Maintaining broking checklists, business plans, market sheets, and TCF forms Clearing temp table transactions Contribute to the production and presentation of statistical and data analysis relating to Lloyd’s contract performance, including distribution to Underwriters Assist in improving MRS-NA data and reporting capabilities in partnership with the IT team Liaise with other departments to resolve queries as needed Provide support to the Broking team to help meet departmental goals Adhere to all MRS-NA policies and procedures This position is offered on a Permanent basis. Annual salary will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful candidate. Annual leave – 25 days per year (plus bank holidays) , increases with length of service.
