Job Summary

The Benefits and Recognition Manager role coordinates benefit and recognition strategies, projects and initiatives for Munich Re across the Europe and Latin America region. T his role has direct operational accountability for the efficient, timely, and accurate provision of benefits and recognition plans across the region including broker and vendor management, and staff communication.

Your Job

  • Manage, review and optimise as necessary all benefits, recognition and wellbeing matters, and ensure all key processes are documented and adhered to.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the benefits portfolio, working with third party suppliers on healthcare, pensions, risk and voluntary benefits
  • Manage the service standards of our external vendors (e.g. providers of HR systems, consultancy, benefits and services)
  • Escalation contact for benefit queries, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Lead on annual benefits renewal ensuring system readiness (where in use) and effective communication with staff
  • Working with the Head of Reward, lead on benefits harmonisation initiatives across the region
  • Conduct data research, analysis and presentation of data in relation to benefits and the analysis of key competitors
  • Coordinate and provide administrative support to the Pensions Governance Committees taking responsibility for actions arising
  • Manage the recognition platform and lead the phased roll out to businesses within the region
  • In partnership with the senior HR team, effectively manage budgets against plan, including invoicing and internal recharging
  • Support the broader EULA regional Reward activity, ensuring appropriate implementation of Global, Regional and Local strategies and initiatives as applicable
  • Plus, any additional duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected to be undertaken in accordance with the role

Your Profile

  • Degree-qualified, equivalent HR qualification or holds equivalent experience in HR
  • Comprehensive experience in a benefits management role, with experience of handling a varied benefits portfolio in UK, mainland Europe and Latin America
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices in multiple jurisdictions
  • High level of IT literacy including benefit enrollment and recognition platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills to build impactful relationships with and to influence key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to spot inconsistencies, trends and patterns in order to interpret and present data
  • Highly structured, with good planning and organisational skills
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
