Job Purpose

Engineer Surveyors play a vital role in keeping Ireland’s industries safe, compliant, and operating at their best. In this exciting field‑based role, you will apply your technical expertise to complete statutory examinations and contractual inspections across a diverse range of equipment.

The type of equipment that our Engineer Surveyors inspect and the locations can vary greatly, but if you have experience with the inspection, maintenance or installation of any of the following types of equipment, it would be good to hear from you:

  • Garage equipment
  • Factory based lifting and pressure equipment
  • Materials handling equipment, such as forklift trucks
  • Social and Domestic, including stairlifts and personnel hoists
  • Mobile plant including MEWPs, Earth Moving equipment etc.

Key Responsibilities

We ensure you are fully trained, supported, and equipped to provide high‑quality inspection services that help safeguard our clients and keep their operations running safely.

Typical responsibilities of an Engineer Surveyor include but are not limited to:

  • Work in accordance with RAMS and company procedures to ensure safety and highest standards are upheld.
  • Manage your own workload, ensuring appointments are on time and schedule is planned for maximum efficiency.
  • Provide, develop and maintain excellent customer service to foster client relationships and ensure consistent standards.

Skills & Experience

  • 1‑3 Years of experience in related engineering environments.
  • Previous experience of the practical application and understanding of regulations such as Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good IT skills (able to operate Microsoft and Apple packages).
  • Understanding of the practical application of excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

A recognised Level 3 Engineering qualification or Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship (e.g., NVQ Level 3).
