We are looking for a Bordereaux Analyst to join our team in London on a full-time hybrid working basis. You will be responsible for the processing of delegated underwriting bordereaux alongside other Bordereaux Analysts, so that management information is timely, up-to-date, relevant, complete, accurate and consistent. The role will also play a key role in supporting the operational delivery, testing, and implementation of any future delegated authority systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Munich Re Syndicate (MRS) delegated underwriting bordereaux process in the various classes of business underwritten utilising relevant internal and market tools.
  • Conduct bordereaux data mapping and transformation in line with MRS and Lloyd’s requirements to ensure complete, accurate, and timely data ingestion and reporting.
  • Perform high-volume data entry and validation tasks with precision and consistency, ensuring bordereaux data is accurately captured, processed, and maintained across systems during the implementation and discovery phases.
  • Participate in the development and execution of bordereaux reviews, including risk-level and premium data validation against underwriting controls, and assess data quality and suitability for operational and regulatory use.
  • Maintain accurate bordereaux records and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Lloyd’s brokers, MRS Underwriters, Compliance, and other Munich Re Group departments) to ensure data integrity and traceability.
  • Respond to data queries and support reporting needs using current tools (QlikView) and new platforms (PowerBI), ensuring alignment with business and regulatory expectations.
  • Contribute to the production of standard and ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies (e.g., Solvency II, Conduct Risk, Lloyd’s Europe, FCA, PRA).
  • Assist in the design and enhancement of dashboards and reporting frameworks to support evolving business needs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Support coverholder and DCA risk assessments and contribute to the onboarding and monitoring processes in line with Lloyd’s and MRS standards.
  • Provide implementation support for delegated underwriting initiatives, working closely with the Head of Bordereaux Management and Head of Underwriting Delivery during the discovery and testing phases.
  • Ensure delegated underwriting and bordereaux management procedures and systems are maintained and updated in accordance with Lloyd’s, MRS, and Group requirements.
  • Help drive forward good Conduct for the business to deliver the best outcomes for customers / policyholders.
  • Understand all appropriate lines of escalation and the responsibilities of the Product Conduct Risk Strategy Group (PCRSG), Underwriting & Claims Sub Committee (UCSC), ExCo and Board for Conduct Risk.
  • Support the process and structure that upholds the requirements set out in the Lloyd’s Conduct Risk Minimum Standards and Complaints Principles.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Sound business knowledge and understanding of bordereaux analysis and management, e.g. DDM.
  • Lloyd's delegated authority tools, e.g. Atlas, DCOM and all future developments.
  • Report production, analysis and presentation utilising reporting tools.
  • Underlying principles of insurance/reinsurance practice.
  • Lloyd’s Market practices and regulation, specifically relating to delegated underwriting.
  • Demonstrate high degree of attention to detail and accuracy and use of relevant reporting tools.
  • Demonstrate good track record of data analysis and data management skills.
  • Ability to manage own workload and to work both supportively and jointly with colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexibly when necessary, prioritising tasks, resource planning and meeting deadlines.
  • Use of communication skills, both written and verbal reporting and presentation, that are both effective and meet business needs.
