We are looking for a Change Lead to join our team in London or Manchester on a full-time basis. You will assist the Head of Oversight and CRO in supporting the change programme and delivering the Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) Target Operating Model and key components of the LRC vision. With a focus on supporting the change activity, and advancing legal, risk and compliance tools and mechanisms, commensurate with the scale and maturity of the businesses and its ambitions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver the oversight activities and support coordination of key deliverables of change projects within LRC and across MRS-GM.
  • Engage MRS-GM transformation and change teams to develop and embed strong change management strategies, frameworks and disciplines.
  • Coordinate the Legal Risk and Compliance resources required to support the change portfolio deliveries.
  • Working closely with the Insights Lead to lead and deliver risk analysis, risk commentary and opinions for senior management, committees and Boards.
  • Co-ordinate/track commentary and deliverables from Compliance and Legal.
  • Develop and implement approaches to drive collaborative working across LRC and effective collaboration with other functions.
  • Identify and drive good and best practice approaches across the function, supporting the design, implementation and embedding of key LRC frameworks, with a focus on change oversight.
  • Working closely with the Insights Lead to support LRC input to key MRS-GM business deliveries including strategic prioritisation and business planning.
  • Working closely with the Insights Lead to ensure appropriate interaction with all governance areas including Legal, Risk, Compliance, CoSec and Internal Audit to ensure comprehensive understanding and delivery of governance and oversight across the business.
  • Establish and maintain relationship with internal and external stakeholders colleagues across MRS-GM, GSI, Munich Re Group and external advisers as appropriate.
  • Support implementation and embedding of the LRC Target Operating Model. Work closely with LRC colleagues and other key stakeholders on new business and change initiatives.
  • Provide technical support to Risk or Compliance teams and broader support to Legal, as appropriate.
Knowledge And Skills
  • Significant insurance experience working in a Risk or Compliance role.
  • Experience of implementing and embedding risk and/or compliance strategies and frameworks across organisations of differing maturities.
  • Experience of leading significant change workstreams.
  • Familiarity with UK regulatory requirements including the PRA, FCA and Solvency II requirements and equivalent EU regulations.
  • Must be able to evidence strong stakeholder management skills in a change, challenge and support capacity, and demonstrate flexibility as required.
  • Must have a good change mindset and demonstrate ability to thrive and bring team along in a change environment.
  • A strong understanding of technical Risk and/or Compliance concepts and equally comfortable understanding and communicating clearly with quantitative and qualitative information.
  • A proven track record of supportive initiatives, delivery results, and succeeding in a high growth, high-velocity environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional environment with a range of stakeholders across the organisation, to handle expectations and to drive alignment.
  • Data-driven and expert in identifying data/MI needs, interpreting information and extracting value and actions from a diversity of data and MI.
  • Comfortable in new/ambiguous situations with a proven ability to cut through and distil disparate information and opinions in support of good-decision making and stakeholder value.
  • Ability to leverage off new technology and tools, e.g. gen AI tools, would be an advantage.
