  • Location: Headquarter is in Cambridge (The role will be predominantly remote with onsite/clinic visits. Going into the office when required), This role is vital in ensuring that high-quality, accurate, and impactful medical content is developed and delivered in a timely manner to support both internal and external stakeholders. By leading the publication of critical clinical data, providing medical guidance to field teams, and fostering strong networks with key clinicians, the Field-Based Medical Adviser will play a crucial role in driving the success of Rezafungin in the treatment of fungal infections and in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care, * Provide medical input to creation, development and review of promotional and non-promotional material, and ensure material is in line with external Laws, Regulations and Codes of Practice. Ensure all promotional and non-promotional materials comply with regulatory guidelines by acting as a final signatory, thereby safeguarding the integrity and accuracy of all medical content.

  • Facilitate the prompt and thorough documentation of clinical cases involving Rezafungin treatment. Collaborate with clinical centres to identify cases of high clinical interest and ensure their publication in relevant medical journals or presentation at key conferences, promoting the dissemination of important clinical insights.

  • Identify information gaps based on insights gained, and support the development of publications based on insights gained, and support the development and implementation of the UK medical plan to address unmet medical needs in anti-infectives and in alignment with the brand plan

  • Maintain deep and current knowledge of Rezafungin, fungal infections, and related therapy areas, acting as a key local ambassador for global medical initiatives, such as Fungiscope and MycoAcademy, to drive knowledge exchange and collaboration. Remain abreast of the latest scientific knowledge and developments in defined domains of expertise, including by means of participation in structured training programs.

  • Provide ongoing medical information and education to KAMs and MSL teams, enhancing their ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians specialising in infectious diseases, haematology-oncology, and allogeneic transplantation. Work closely with hospitals treating fungal infections to support the successful treatment of patients and contribute to broader medical advancements. To facilitate IIT submissions and to ensure optimal Real World Data Generation plans are implemented and completed

  • Medical Doctor or Pharmacist

  • Proven years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs

  • Track record of launch experience working in specialty care and/or rare disease

  • Significant experience with the review of non-promotional and promotional materials

  • Experience in Clinical Development and/or delivery of Phase IV/Real World Data generation

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of building strong scientific partnerships through external engagement with Key External Experts

  • Good organisational skills and demonstrated ability to work in a self-directed manner

  • Ability to rapidly assimilate and communicate complex scientific data in an appropriate way with the target audience

  • Excellent working knowledge of the UK Healthcare system
