The Global Medical Advisor - Anti-Infectives will join the Medical Affairs team at Mundipharma, leading medical strategy and ensuring the Anti-Infectives product execution across functions and regions.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Global Subject-Matter Expertise: Serve as the global medical authority in the Anti-Infectives therapeutic area shaping enterprise-wide strategy.
- Strategic Data Interpretation: Translate complex global clinical data, real-world evidence (RWE), and emerging scientific trends into actionable insights for senior leadership.
- Evidence Generation: Design and lead global evidence generation programs to address critical scientific gaps and differentiate the portfolio externally.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead high-impact global initiatives, driving alignment and execution across senior stakeholders through influence rather than direct authority.
- KOL & External Engagement: Build and sustain strategic partnerships with top-tier global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to shape clinical practice and perception.
- Internal Mentorship: Act as a senior mentor and capability builder, elevating scientific acumen and strategic thinking across the broader organization.
- Complex Problem Solving: Resolve highly ambiguous scientific and strategic challenges by integrating clinical, regulatory, and market insights.
- Cross-Regional Impact: Shape and execute medical strategies with cross-functional and cross-regional implications to drive long-term global value.
- Governance & Compliance: Establish and oversee global governance frameworks, ensuring all medical activities uphold the highest ethical and scientific standards.
- Risk & Resource Management: Proactively mitigate enterprise-level risks while managing investment strategies, budgets, and timelines for maximum impact.
What you’ll bring:
- Advanced scientific degree required (MD, PharmD, or PhD) with strong grounding in clinical research, therapeutic science, and evidence-based medicine.
- Global Medical Affairs / Medical Advisor or equivalent experience, with clear progression to enterprise-level strategic influence.
- Previous Anti-Infectives / Infectious Disease therapeutic area experience would be ideal but also open to other therapy areas such as Haematology or ICU products.
- Previous experience in leading new indication launches.
- Proven track record of leading global evidence generation and cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact.
- Extensive and established experience engaging top-tier global KOLs/HCPs, influencing scientific discourse and clinical practice.
- Demonstrated success operating in highly matrixed global organizations, influencing senior stakeholders without formal authority.
- Deep scientific and clinical expertise with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategic insights.
- Exceptional executive-level communication and storytelling skills, capable of influencing C-suite and external experts.
- Advanced stakeholder management and influencing capabilities across diverse, global audiences.
- Strong governance, compliance, and risk management expertise within a global regulatory environment.
- Highly developed strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in ambiguous, complex environments.
