Role Overview
Drive the development, roll‑out and execution of global value strategy, value communication and patient access strategy for the Rescue Therapies portfolio, including Nyxoid and Substitol, at Mundipharma.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of global asset value strategies and optimise patient access through global and local value communication.
- Design and execute the Rescue Therapies engagement strategy for EU level stakeholders, government ministries, NGOs and voluntary sector stakeholders.
- Lead the design and execution of global payer research to understand primary value drivers and requirements for sustainable access across geographies and indications.
- Develop core payer tools (global value dossiers, health‑economic models, payer objection handlers, budget impact models) to support reimbursement submissions and regional/local access.
- Optimise country‑level execution by designing fit‑for‑purpose payer engagement practices, training programs and mock negotiations.
- Partner with Medical and R&D for evidence generation, identify data gaps, shape pre‑ and post‑launch evidence plans, and manage external vendor budgets.
- Serve as a core market access representative within the '3M' global asset teams to align strategies with payer needs.
- Collaborate with the Pricing & Tender Centre of Excellence to inform global pricing frameworks through research and modelling.
- Monitor policy, regulatory and competitive landscapes to anticipate impacts on healthcare systems.
- Drive the development of government affairs strategies to support local teams in engaging policy stakeholders regarding pricing trends.
- Conduct pricing, reimbursement and HTA due diligence assessments to maximise value for geographic expansion and business development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Life Sciences or Health Economics; BSc, MSc or Ph D preferred.
- Proven global Market Access experience (industry or consulting), with experience on mature brands and opioid addiction treatment highly desirable.
- Strong background in Government Affairs / Policy and experience with product launches or expansions in related policy environments.
- In‑depth understanding of global HTA systems, value assessment principles, cost‑utility analysis and outcomes research.
- Experience developing global HTA and early advice strategies and translating payer insights into localized execution.
- Track record in engaging regional/global payer networks, conducting horizon scanning, and supporting local P&R negotiations and policy advocacy.
- Strong analytical and business development skills, including leading P&R research programs and global pricing assumptions.
- Ability to design and implement strategic frameworks and value‑based contracting models.
- Capability building skills – designing and delivering market access training, value argumentation toolkits and negotiation objection handlers.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks, SOP development, and rigorous review of models and submissions.
- Excellent project management and cross‑functional influencing skills, with strong written, verbal and presentation abilities.
