We are looking to employ a teaching assistant to meet the needs of the children within Beacon SRB based at Mundesley Infant School. Hours of work: 8.15am - 2.45pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience working with Key Stage 1/2 aged children.
- Have experience working with children with additional needs and possess a range of strategies to support children with challenging behaviour or are willing to learn.
- Have experience of Step On or are willing to undertake training.
- Good mathematical and English skills.
- Can form positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
- Are able to support the children within the class and during break times.
- Have a calm, patient approach to supporting the needs of children.
- Willingness to offer intimate care is expected.
- Able to use their initiative to support learning & behaviour.
- Be adaptable to situations and willing to work as part of a team.
- Are willing to undertake training and attend meetings as necessary.
- A very good sense of humour!
