We are looking for a friendly and efficient Midday Supervisor to assist with the serving of school lunches and supervise the lunch hall while children are eating, as well as supervise the playground during the lunchtime break.

Working Hours and Pay

  • Weekly hours: 7.5 hours (Mon–Fri 11:45am–1:15pm)
  • Part‑time, Term Time only (fixed term to 31 August 2027)
  • Salary: £12.85 per hour
  • Start: September 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in serving lunches
  • Supervise lunch hall while children are eating
  • Supervise playground during lunchtime break
  • Set up tables, assist children while they eat, clean tables and sweep floor
  • Organise and support children’s outdoor play

Legal and Disclosure

The AIM Federation of Schools is committed to safeguarding children and expects all staff to share this commitment. The post is subject to a satisfactory disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service, may require an enhanced DBS check, and may involve completing a declaration form in relation to the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
