The successful candidate will play a key role insupporting the daily operations of the school office, providing excellentcustomer service to students, parents, staff, and visitors.
This role requiresstrong communication, administrative, and organisational skills, along with theability to manage multiple tasks in a busy school environment.

As an Administration Assistant, you will
- Act as front of house and communicate with pupils, staff, parents, andvisitors appropriately and ensurethat they are dealt with in a professional manner and in line with the school’sagreed safeguarding policy.
- Ensuresafeguarding procedures are complied with, communicated and understood by allvisitors to the school; and ensure that all visitors comply with school signingin procedures.
- Ensure thatrelevant data is recorded relating to pupils arrivinglate or leaving early.
- Dailyadministration and communication of school meals.
- Operatephone system; take messages, deal with day-to-day enquiries, and re-route, where necessary, to appropriate member of staff.
- Effectivecommunication with parents through a variety of platforms eg. phone calls, letters, emails, texts and social media; including triaging queries andconcerns and end of day messages.
- Dailyuse of various IT systems and platforms.
- Collaborativelymanage school office email inbox.
- Dayto day administrative work of the school, such as medication forms, awards, IDbadges, Every compliance, monthly newsletters(Sway) etc.
- Deal withincoming deliveries and help to maintain a clean and professional Receptionarea.
- Manage andupdate calendars, including those on the school website.
- Managing theschool website with support from the Admin Manager / Office Manager.
- Ensureregisters for after school clubs are shared with class teachers and for thoserunning clubs.
- Support withthe collection of relevant paperwork for trips etc.
- Support andchase non-payment of school trips, residentials and dinner money andadministration of same through payment portal.
- Support withproducing Data Collection Sheets and updating school database promptly withchanges.
- Assistwith entering new pupils onto school database, ensuring that the necessaryprocedures are complied with.
- Assist FLO with updating information noticeboard.
- Be aware ofand comply with policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, health, safety and security, confidentiality, and data protection, reporting allconcerns to an appropriate person.
- Attend andparticipate in relevant meetings as required.
- Maintainingstationery levels and ordering where appropriate.
- Provideeffective administration support to the Headteacher/other SLT, as required.
