Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for the existing production network security environments.
  • Install, configure and maintain new network security environments.
  • Support application moves to the cloud and compartmentation of network segmentation and policies on Cloud and On-Prem.
  • Provide technical network security expertise within the network team.
  • Vendor management for production hardware lifecycle.
  • Availability tracking and technical elimination of repeat incidents in design templates.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Technical Network Security Engineering position/s.
  • Experience working as part of a global function providing level III operational support for network security environments including troubleshooting escalated firewall incidents and maintenance of existing infrastructure (Fortinet, Checkpoint, Fortinet remote user VPNs, Cisco ASA, VMware NSX-T DFW).
  • Technical expertise installing and configuring network security environments and tools (Fortinet, Cisco, CheckPoint, UTM Technologies, NSX-T DFW - Azure NSG Firewall, VPN Gateways).
  • Scripting and API knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Experience of working as part of a global function.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, flexible and a proactive team player.
  • Dealing with ambiguity.
  • Technical competencies around data routing & switching.
