Job Purpose: Carry out site inspections and provide technical advice to support safe, compliant construction on projects registered under MDIS Warranty schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect new-build and converted homes in line with the Technical Manual and Building Regulations.
  • Plan and manage your own workload to deliver a professional, responsive service.
  • Record inspection details and share findings clearly with customers and colleagues.
  • Work with Surveyors and Management to maintain technical standards.
  • Build positive relationships with Developers, Clients and Builders, offering practical guidance.

Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years in a construction, surveying, inspection or similar technical role.
  • Chartered (Member level) or Class 2b Competent under the Building Inspector Competency Framework.
  • Good understanding of site inspections, defect identification and Building Regulations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable using MS Office and mobile devices.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Able to work across multiple sites (reasonable adjustments welcomed).
