Job Purpose: Carry out site inspections and provide technical advice to support safe, compliant construction on projects registered under MDIS Warranty schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect new-build and converted homes in line with the Technical Manual and Building Regulations.
- Plan and manage your own workload to deliver a professional, responsive service.
- Record inspection details and share findings clearly with customers and colleagues.
- Work with Surveyors and Management to maintain technical standards.
- Build positive relationships with Developers, Clients and Builders, offering practical guidance.
Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years in a construction, surveying, inspection or similar technical role.
- Chartered (Member level) or Class 2b Competent under the Building Inspector Competency Framework.
- Good understanding of site inspections, defect identification and Building Regulations.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable using MS Office and mobile devices.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Able to work across multiple sites (reasonable adjustments welcomed).
