Role Overview: As Brand Partnerships Manager at Mumsnet you will join a buzzing commercial team and grow revenue through high quality, strategic partnerships with brands. You will develop compelling partnership proposals, and lead opportunities from first conversation through to renewal, delivering strong client outcomes and sustainable commercial growth. This role reports into the Head of Brand Partnerships and is a fullâtime role, with 2 days in our Kentish Town offices.
What Youâll Be Doing:
- Build and execute outbound strategies that convert into revenue, using audience insight and category knowledge to target the right partners.
- Own your pipeline end to end, including prospecting, qualification, proposal, negotiation, close, and renewal.
- Maintain accurate CRM hygiene, pipeline discipline, and forecast inputs.
- Embed AI in your workflow to improve account research, audience insight, proposal development, and pipeline management in line with company standards.
- Lead on strategy and creativity for pitches, translating client objectives into partnership ideas across awareness and performance.
- Collaborate with Planning, Editorial, Product and Marketing to shape compelling, differentiated proposals.
- Build trusted client relationships through excellent service, proactive insight, and clear commercial recommendations.
- Work closely with the Planning team to ensure partnerships are set up for success and positioned for renewal.
- Stay close to parenting trends, cultural moments, competitor activity and ad market developments to inform proactive ideas and sharper proposals.
Success Criteria:
- Consistently hitting sales targets through solving client problems with Mumsnet's commercial products.
- A healthy, high quality pipeline with accurate forecasting and clear next steps.
- High quality, insightâled proposals that win business and drive repeat partnerships.
- Strong client relationships evidenced by renewals, referrals, and positive stakeholder feedback.
- Clear productivity gains through effective use of tools including AI and disciplined sales processes.
Requirements:
- 3 years minimum experience in brand partnerships, media sales, or digital partnerships, ideally within a digital publisher, community platform, or social media environment.
- Track record of new business generation and closing, plus managing and growing accounts.
- Strong strategic selling skills, comfortable selling from top of funnel awareness to lower funnel performance.
- Confident pitching and negotiation skills, able to lead senior client conversations.
- Strong operational discipline, including CRM and pipeline management, forecasting, and prioritisation.
- Collaborative working style with crossâfunctional teams.
- Clear alignment with Mumsnet's purpose and values.
- Clear understanding of the benefit AI tools can have to the sales process.
