We are recruiting for two Multi-Skilled Workshop Technicians on behalf of our client, a well-established family-run business based in Steeple Morden, that specialises in the build of bespoke catering trailers.

About the Role:

You will be involved in building catering trailers from scratch, working with stainless steel, aluminium, and wood in a well-equipped warehouse/workshop environment. You will work as part of a small, experienced team and receive training on specialist machinery where required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Building and fitting catering trailers
  • MIG & TIG welding and fabrication
  • Carpentry and kitchen fitting
  • Cutting and folding stainless steel (training provided)
  • Using hand tools and workshop machinery

Requirements:

  • Skilled carpenter or commercial body/kitchen fitter
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • Woodworking and manufacturing experience desirable
  • Must be able to drive due to remote location

Working Hours & Benefits:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Monday-Friday with the option to work either 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm
  • 42.5 hours per week (30-minute lunch)
  • 28 days holiday
  • Large warehouse/workshop facilities
