If you are an experienced CNC Machinist looking to work for a well established family-run business with a great client base including leading engineering firms across the UK, then look no further! Our client, based in Royston is looking for a skilled individual with a strong attention to detail to join their busy and growing team.
What you'll be doing
- Set and operate CNC milling machines independently (Fanuc, Heidenhain, and/or HAAS)
- Follow CAM-generated programs, working from technical drawings and specifications
- Machine bespoke, precision parts from metals and plastics
- Handle challenging, one-off jobs requiring problem-solving and adaptability
- Ensure quality through visual inspections and support from our internal QA team
- Maintain safe, tidy, and efficient working conditions in line with Health & Safety protocols
- Collaborate with your team to deliver work on time and to a high standard
What you'll need
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Proven ability to set and operate mills independently
- Experience working with both metal and plastic materials
- Comfortable working under time pressure in a fast-paced prototyping environment
