This is a brilliant opportunity for a commercially minded, people-focused hospitality leader who wants to shape culture, develop great leaders and build an exceptional employee experience. Reporting directly to the General Manager, managing one team member, you’ll lead the People & Culture agenda for the hotel, partnering closely with the Executive Team and Heads of Department to ensure the business attracts, develops and retains brilliant people. You’ll be highly visible across the hotel, close to the operation and comfortable moving between strategy, coaching, culture and the realities of running a busy hospitality business. You’ll take ownership of the hotel’s People & Culture strategy, with a broad remit spanning: Culture, engagement, wellbeing and inclusion Leadership development, coaching and succession planning Talent acquisition and employer branding Learning & development and management capability Employee relations and UK employment law Importantly, you’ll also help prepare the people function for future long term growth, supporting new concepts, restaurants, hotel openings and wider expansion. You’ll create a People & Culture function that is genuinely connected to the operation and trusted by leaders and employees alike. You’ll develop stronger leadership capability across the hotel, create meaningful career and succession opportunities and ensure the business has the talent it needs for the future. You’ll use people data intelligently - understanding turnover, retention, engagement, recruitment and labour costs - and turn those insights into practical action. And you’ll build a culture where people feel valued, supported and able to do their best work, while never losing sight of commercial performance. You’ll already be operating at a senior People & Culture/HR leadership level within hotels or hospitality, with the confidence and credibility to partner a General Manager and Executive Team. You’ll bring strong knowledge of UK employment law alongside experience of employee relations, talent, L&D, engagement and organisational change. Commercial awareness is important too. You’ll understand payroll, labour costs, budgets and workforce planning and recognise that a brilliant people strategy must ultimately support a brilliant business. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a genuinely influential People & Culture leadership role within an ambitious hospitality business, with the opportunity to shape both the employee experience today and the company as it grows. : , . , .
