A well-funded private developer is launching a flexible workspace concept in London and is now seeking a leader, operator and commercial pro to build the business from day one. This is a leadership role offering full autonomy across business strategy, operations and commercial performance. You will take ownership of P&L, occupancy, revenue strategy, team leadership and member experience, working closely with business owners and a central support team.

The role

  • Business Strategy
    • Work closely with business owners to create and implement a strategy to launch a new workspace concept and brand.
  • Operations & Site Management
    • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites.
    • Ensure buildings are maintained to a high standard across facilities, maintenance, cleaning, and presentation.
    • Manage contractors, suppliers and service partners.
    • Ensure full compliance across health & safety, fire, licensing and statutory requirements.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and report on performance and condition.
  • Member Experience
    • Act as the primary point of contact for members across the portfolio.
    • Oversee enquiries, applications, complaints and ongoing relationships.
    • Manage billing, licence fees, deposits and occupancy records.
    • Ensure a seamless member experience across on-site and remote support.
  • Commercial Leadership
    • Drive occupancy, revenue and ancillary income across all sites.
    • Lead leasing activity including marketing, viewings and deal negotiation.
    • Set pricing strategy and manage renewals.
    • Work alongside the Sales Director to maximise commercial performance.
    • Identify and deliver new revenue opportunities.
  • Financial Ownership
    • Full P&L responsibility across the group.
    • Produce and manage annual budgets and business plans.
    • Deliver quarterly reporting and financial performance updates.
    • Control costs across utilities, service charges and supplier contracts.
  • Team Leadership
    • Build, lead and develop a team across operations, front-of-house and facilities.
    • Recruit, onboard and performance manage all on-site staff.
    • Create a high-performance, accountable team culture.
  • Compliance & Administration
    • Maintain accurate records across occupancy agreements and property documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and certifications.
    • Support insurance processes and risk management.

About you

You are an experienced leader who has built and overseen a first-class flexible workspace, serviced office, or similar multi-site business. Blended experience that includes premium hospitality is preferred. You are commercially sharp, operationally strong, and equally comfortable working with business owners, central support and front-line teams.

  • Proven and demonstrable P&L ownership.
  • Strong commercial track record with evidence of revenue growth and deal-making.
  • Experienced and natural people leader with the ability to build and retain high-performing teams.
  • Solid understanding of facilities management and property operations.
  • Confident working directly with owners/developers and other key stakeholders.
  • Mobile across sites as required.
