A rare opportunity has arisen for a Head of Events to join a highly regarded, private, and multi-faceted London venue with an established events business and significant growth potential. This role is responsible for driving event sales, shaping commercial strategy, and leading a well-established sales and planning team within a complex, high-demand environment.

The opportunity

  • You will take ownership for proactive sales and planning of a diverse events portfolio spanning:
  • Exclusive private and member-led events
  • Corporate events
  • Multi-day conferences
  • High-value weddings

Working closely with senior stakeholders across F&B, operations, and membership, you will be instrumental in maximising revenue from all event spaces, refining strategy and enhancing overall event positioning.

The role

  • Lead the proactive sales and planning function for all events
  • Develop and execute a targeted commercial strategy to drive higher spend and repeat business
  • Build and leverage existing client relationships and networks
  • Act as a senior point of contact for VIP clients and key stakeholders
  • Coach, develop, and elevate an experienced but underutilised team
  • Drive performance through clear KPIs, reporting, and conversion metrics
  • Influence internal culture and promote a more proactive, commercial mindset

  • Proven leadership experience within luxury events, hospitality, or private environments
