Luxury Lifestyle Member’s Club concept in London, offering a basic salary of circa £100,000 (DOE), performance-related bonus, private healthcare, and enhanced benefits.

We’re proud to be partnering with a growing luxury lifestyle member’s club concept that sets the benchmark for experience, community, and belonging. This business places people at the heart of everything, where distinctive culture, exceptional service, and commercial success flow from how teams are supported, developed, and inspired.

Following a period of growth, increased membership demand, and ambitious expansion plans, this award-winning business is seeking an exceptional Director of People and Culture to lead and elevate its people strategy. This is not a traditional HR or People role; it’s an opportunity for a progressive, emotionally intelligent leader who understands lifestyle and luxury, thrives in high-touch environments, and believes culture is created through presence, trust, and consistency - not policy alone.

The opportunity involves partnering closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to build a people function that supports both current excellence and future growth, ensuring the company continues to attract, retain, and develop exceptional talent at every level. You’ll be a visible presence across the business, a trusted advisor to leaders, and a guardian of culture, values, and standards.

What you’ll be accountable for:

  • People Strategy & Culture: Design and deliver a people strategy aligned to the club’s vision, values, and growth plans; embed a strong, inclusive, and high-performance culture across all teams; act as a cultural ambassador, ensuring values are lived daily.
  • Leadership & Development: Coach and develop senior leaders and department heads; build clear development pathways, succession plans, and leadership capability; elevate performance management, feedback, and recognition frameworks.
  • Talent & Resourcing: Attract best-in-class talent aligned to luxury service and brand standards; oversee recruitment strategies that balance quality, diversity, and pace; strengthen employer brand and candidate experience.
  • Employee Experience & Engagement: Create meaningful engagement initiatives that drive retention and pride; oversee wellbeing, DEI, and engagement programmes; reduce turnover through strong listening, communication, and care.
  • HR Operations & Governance: Ensure robust HR policies, processes, and compliance across the business; lead employee relations matters with empathy, fairness, and confidence; maintain best-in-class standards in employment law, people analytics, and reporting.
  • Change, Growth & Transformation: Support organisational change, expansion, and new initiatives; build scalable people processes to support future growth; use data and insight to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.

What success looks like in this role:

  • Improved employee engagement and retention.
  • Strong leadership bench strength and succession readiness.
  • High-quality recruitment outcomes and reduced time-to-hire.
  • Positive employee feedback and culture metrics.
  • Trusted partnership with leaders and the executive team.

Who this role is for:

This role will suit a senior HR/People leader who brings:

  • Experience in luxury lifestyle hospitality environments (essential).
  • A proven ability to build and lead people strategy in high-touch brands.
  • Strong commercial awareness and pragmatic decision-making.
  • High emotional intelligence and credibility at senior leadership level.
  • A hands-on, people-first approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Confidence navigating complexity, discretion, and high expectations.

Values & how you show up:

This company believes exceptional experiences are created by people who feel valued, supported, and inspired. You will lead with warmth, integrity, and clarity; balance empathy with high standards and accountability; create trust through visibility, consistency, and fairness; champion diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing; and bring calm, confidence, and energy to everything you do.

If you’re a strategic yet deeply human People leader, ready to shape the culture of a luxury lifestyle member’s club concept, we’d love to hear from you.

Closing date for applications: Friday 6th February 2026. Please note, owing to significant interest in roles, to ensure a fair and consistent process, all applications will be reviewed and responded to via LinkedIn post closing date.
